MEET YOUR TRAINER

Niamh Roberts

Niamh has previously worked in in adult and children’s mental health settings. Niamh most recently worked as an Education Mental Health Practitioner with a Mental Health Support team in Manchester before moving to the Healthy Schools team to start the role of Mental Health Lead. Niamh also has experience working in secondary schools in a mental health support role.

Niamh has worked with many schools across Manchester in her role as an EMHP and looks forward to continuing developing these relationships and supporting schools with their whole school approach to mental health and wellbeing. As Niamh has a combination of a clinical and education background, she is aware of common mental health difficulties experienced by young people and how to identify these, but she is also aware of the current educational context. Niamh is passionate about working with schools, parents and carers to raise awareness of mental health difficulties and promoting early intervention strategies to support young people’s mental health.

Outside of work, Niamh loves to travel, listen to music and go to the gym.
