Advanced PSHE SEND Practitioner: Empowering Active Citizens - Integrating British Values, SMSC and Careers
In this session, delegates will explore the role of British Values, SMSC and Careers education in our schools and how to ensure their provision is SEND inclusive. Participants will also consider the importance of pupil voice to help empower and raise the ambition of leaners with SEND.
Learning Objectives:
- To understand the role and impact of British Values, SMSC and Careers education in the wider context of the school’s Personal Development programme
- To identify strategies for making each aspect SEND inclusive in all educational settings
- To learn how to empower young people through accessible and inclusive pupil voice opportunities
