Training & Events

Drugs and alcohol education is fundamental for children and young people to grow up healthy and safe. Effective alcohol and drug education builds pupil resilience and life skills around alcohol and drugs.

Our universal training is available for all schools that have completed the Health Check.

Schools that have prioritised Drugs and Alcohol Education this year will have access to a wider selection of ‘in-house’ training and support to ensure that they are able to make significant progress in this area.

All our Drugs and Alcohol Education resources have been developed and piloted in partnership with Manchester schools. Primary and secondary schools will find resources available below to support them with policy writing, good practice guidelines, relevant legislation, and curriculum development.
