This session explores the 4 categories of need and you will gain an increased understanding of the aims of the SEND Code of Practice and what your responsibilities under the code of practice are including; making reasonable adjustments to your practice to support children with SEND. You will also be introduced to the different services and sources of support.
Learning outcomes:
- Develop knowledge and awareness of the four categories of need and how to use this knowledge to communicate and support children and young people with SEND
