‘Make Your Mark, ‘The Five Ways to Wellbeing’ and ‘Anti-Bullying Week’ were all covered at the first Voicebox meeting of the year as we launched the 2017-18 Big Health Challenge. This year students have been tasked with running a number of initiatives and health campaigns in school linked to the Five Ways to Wellbeing. To familiarise themselves with these they took part in a number of collaborative activities ranging from sign language to creating a human washing machine! We hope that by taking part in the challenge they will have a positive impact on the wellbeing of their school community and we look forward to hearing about and awarding their efforts in July. We also invited Joanne from Manchester Youth Council to speak to students about the ‘Make Your Mark’ campaign and to explain how they can make sure their voices are heard at both a regional and national level. Lastly, a big thank you goes to Loreto High School for hosting the session. We look forward to seeing you all at the next Voicebox meeting on 15th November.
