Themes included:

Childhood Obesity is a complex and often misunderstood disease which can massively impact an individual's physical and mental health. This virtual training will explore the causes of childhood obesity, considering environment, lack of physical activity, dietary patterns, socioeconomic status and heredity and family influence. It will look at ways that schools can sensitively and constructively support affected individuals.

Participants

This course is open to all staff who work in a primary, secondary or special school setting

Cost

This course is free of charge to all Manchester schools who are engaged with the 2022/23 Healthy Schools Programme
