Healthy Lifestyles training Part 2 – Developing a physically active school community

Course description

Themes included:

A look at the physical activity levels of children and young people in Manchester and how these have been impacted as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic. An overview of why physical activity is a fundamental part of a healthy lifestyle, a look at the links between physical activity, mental health and diet and the latest guidance, resources and good practice to support you in developing a physically active school community.

Participants

This course is open to anyone who works in a primary, secondary or special school setting.

Cost

This course is free of charge to all schools who are engaged with the 2022/23 Healthy Schools Programme
