Healthy Lifestyles training Part 1 – The importance of healthy eating in school and beyond

Course description

Themes included:

A look at how the Coronavirus pandemic has impacted the diets and nutritional health of children and young people in Manchester, the contribution school food can make towards a healthy diet, an update on the Childhood Obesity Plan and a look at a range of resources and guidance to help you promote healthy lifestyles in your setting through a whole school approach.

Participants

This course is open to anyone who works in a primary, secondary or special school setting

Cost

This course is free of charge to all Manchester schools who are engaged with the 2022/23 Healthy Schools Programme

Course Length

This course is recommended as a 1.5- 2 hour session but can be condensed into a 1 hour session if needed depending on your school's needs
