E-Safety and cyber-bullying staff training

Course description

This training will help attendees to understand the benefits of the online world and the potential risks associated with keeping children and young people safe online. The training will incorporate the following:

-How children use the internet and technology including social media and app trends.

-The potential risks children face online.

-Negative and risk taking online behaviours (sexting, pornography, sharing inappropriate images)

-Cyberbullying

-Detailed support for individuals and organisations

-Sharing of good practice, resources and interventions.

-Recording, reporting and responding to E-safety concerns.


Participants

This course is free of charge to schools that have prioritised Social and Emotional Health through the 2019/2020 Health Check.
